After a long time Google came with their own browser. How funny is actually this? The leader in web world doesn’t have it’s own browser . Never mind the time of Google Chrome came.

I understood about it last week when they start the official release. Actually i was scared to install something new, which is not tested. After a few minutes thinking i download the setup and install it.

On first view the browser looks really simple and nice. Good colors, nice navigation, but again we have a lot of stolen things from the other browsers. I still can’t understand why people are looking in the coup of the others?!

Good Points

- It looks really simple and it’s very easy for using

- It’s not heavy and it doesn’t need any special resources

- There are some nice effects when you open a new tab, move it around

- Reading the CSS and XHTML correctly even i didn’t make any special tests with it

Bad Points

- There is still no Developers Api, well i agree that it’s too early but it’s time .

- The default menu with “File, Edit, View” is missing. I have the feeling that my browser has a bug when i browse through Chrome.

- Nothing special with options.

- There is no big list with options for the browser

- No extensions

Final conclusion

The browser looks ok, working good, but for developers purpose and anything special besides browsing this browser is not very good. For the normal user, probably yes but till we don’t have extensions and anything more special. If Google doesn’t integrate something different from the other browsers Chrome will stay at the same position like it’s now. But i like it .
